Sherifa Gunu is a Ghanaian soul musician.[1] She was born a princess into a royal family of the Kingdom of Dagbon, in the Northern Region of Ghana. Gunu had interest in music and dance during her childhood days.[2]
Sherifa has been in various dancing competitions at the regional and national levels.[2]
