Shopee Pte. Ltd. is a Singaporean multinational technology company specialising in e-commerce. It is a subsidiary company of Sea Limited. It was launched in 2015 in Singapore, before its global expansion.[3]
Since 2021[update], Shopee is considered the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia with 343 million monthly visitors [citation needed]. It also serves consumers and sellers across countries in East Asia and Latin America who wish to purchase and sell their goods online.[4][5] [6]
