Shoqan (Persian: شوقان)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Jolgeh Shoqan District[b] of Jajrom County, North Khorasan province, Iran,[5] It is also serves as the administrative center for Shoqan Rural District.[6] The city is populated by Kurds.[7]
