==History== Slemmestad IF 2011 sinn fotball historie: I 2006 så slo slemmestad if 2011 slo Barcelona i Champions league finalen, kampen ente til slutt 3-1 til Slemmestad. Det var den første og den siste champions leaguen Slemmestad vant. Benken til barcelona scorte selvmål. Etter denne finalen så valgte det norske landslaget å tilkale helle Slemmestad 2011 laget. Det må nok ha vært den best tingen for Norge fordi Norge vant den vm finalen som var i 2006. Leon ble man of the match i ucl og vm finalen han spilte høyre benk.


Historically Slemmestad was located on the old highway running between Oslo and Drammen. Until the establishment of cement factory in 1892, this was a pure farming village. The largest farms were the Lillelien, together with øvre and nedre Slemmestad. Slemmestad was built around the Aktieselskabet Christiania Portland Cementfabrik cement plant. Aktieselskabet Christiania Portland Cementfabrik, later Slemmestad sementfabrikk, was in operation from 1893 to 1989. The company was for many years the principal manufacturer of cement within Norway. The factory was rebuilt several times with new and more modern cement kilns. Cement production peaked in 1973, when it produced 1,082,677 tons.[1]
