At the FIBA Asia Cup, they have won a record 25 medals in the competition. Furthermore, South Korea is the only nation that has qualified for every edition of the event since it was first held in 1960.[2] While on the global level, South Korea has qualified for the FIBA World Cup eight times throughout their history.
