Stuyvesant (/ˈstaɪvəsənt/ STY-və-sənt)[2] is a town in Columbia County, New York, United States. The population was 1,931 at the 2020 census,[3] down from 2,027 at the 2010 census.[4] The town is in the northwest corner of Columbia County. U.S. Route 9 crosses the southeastern corner of the town.
