Submersion of Japan[1] (日本沈没, Nihon Chinbotsu, lit. "Japan Sinks") is a film directed by Shiro Moritani in 1973.[1] It is based on the 1973 novel Japan Sinks by Sakyo Komatsu.[3][1] The film stars Keiju Kobayashi, Hiroshi Fujioka and Ayumi Ishida.[4]
