Sulaiman bin Haji Damit (28 March 1941 – 8 July 2016) was a Bruneian aristocrat, diplomat and military officer who served as the commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) from 1990 until 1994. He and Ariffin Abdul Wahab were the first local servicemen to be promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in 1976.[1]
