The Swedish Baptist Union of Finland (Swedish: Finlands svenska baptistsamfund) is an association of Baptist Christian churches, based in Vaasa, Finland[1] that was founded in 1980.[2] It is an umbrella organization for the Baptist churches of the Swedish-speaking minority in Finland.
The Swedish Baptist Union of Finland is a member of the Finnish Ecumenical Council.[3] It is also a member of the European Baptist Federation[4] and the Baptist World Alliance.
The union supports cooperation with other free churches in Finland and supports mission work abroad.[5] It publishes a newsletter entitled Missionsstandaret.
