Takizawa (滝沢市, Takizawa-shi) is a city located in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 March 2020[update], the city had an estimated population of 55,325 in 23,270 households,[1] and a population density of 300 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 182.46 square kilometres (70.45 sq mi).
