I think that this article badly needs more pictures.
Links need to be provided for player positions on first mention and for terms like backfield, etc.
This is really heavy on football jargon and only in a few places have you given readers unfamiliar with football enough context to figure out your meaning.
Meanwhile, former Charger quarterback Jack Kemp featured on a Buffalo Bills missing word?
I'm not a fan of the preseason section, but its removal is not a requirement

30-yarder pulled it back to 13–10 at the break "pulled it back"? rephrase
@Sturmvogel 66: I've gone through the article now. I've tried to wikilink football jargon where it's used for the first time, and have amended the specific phrases you've highlighted. Finding appropriate pictures is a challenge for seasons from this long ago, but I found a couple more player pictures and added them. Harper J. Cole (talk) 20:50, 4 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Links are only necessary the first time used. If you linked the positions in the draft table, you don't need them further down the article, only before the table, like in the lede and the text of the draft section. This script will help you find duplicate links, but only in the main body.
link rookie, the coaching positions in the table
The first time that you mention that a team had a possession on a specific yard line, like advancing to the Boston 42 be sure to add "-yard line" to the distance.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 13:20, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
