Talk:Harmonic Convergence

I removed a recent amusing insert, but reproduce it here in (what I hope was intended to be) its sarcastic entirety, for the entertainment of future readers:

After two minutes, various sites of racial disharmony and overt political oppression across the globe suddenly became encapsulated in a shimmering gossamer glow. Widespread accounts of "phantom chanting" were reported by bewildered citizens the world over. Ultimately, war, disharmony, and bad moods were eliminated forever. In the years since, the planet Earth has become a place of peace and discovery, a veritable utopia.

I removed alot of the "Gaya is proud..." and "Great Souls of True Christ.." language. Since the page is fully linked, anyone interested can read about the beliefs behind this event elsewhere, without this page having to be ladden with scripture and personal narrative. - user:Crocodilicus —Preceding undated comment was added at 15:55, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Based on WP:Weight, there was no noticeable change in the human spirit. The Alwaites and the Sunnis are shedding blood in Syria, Dems and Reps went over the United States fiscal cliff hand in hand in the US, Scotland wants to succeed from the UK, and those guys on the other side of the hill want to kill those other guys on the other side of the hill. However, as serious as I can be on this subject, I do think a Resolution to Prophesy, Aftermath of Harmonic Convergence, or Costs of Prophesy section would improve the article and serve a purpose to future researchers and readers, when the next eschatological crisis is claimed. My proposal is similar the to the Costs subsection of the Year 2000 problem article. Geraldshields11 (talk) 01:37, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello -- why is "Arguelles" mentioned in the first paragraph? I looked it up and found it must be José Arguelles, so obviously someone made an edit and left these fragments. I normally don't see stuff like this on Wikipedia. Who ever is responsible -- could you please fix this? Thanks. Roricka (talk) 11:39, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
