The information detailing the current Hawker Beechcraft operations at the airfield are slightly inaccurate. Rather than being just a support facility, all the major components including the fuselage, wings and tail for the 700/800/900 range are still produced here. They are shipped to America for final assembly.
Could someone add this in as I am not sure on the editing protocols. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Staigscrane (talk • contribs) 15:09, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Raytheon Corporation no longer has any connection with this facility. The company, originally BAe Corporate Jets, was bought by Raytheon in 1992, but was later sold to Hawker-Beechcraft. Beechcraft has now dropped Hawker from its portfolio. At this time, 30th May 2013, it is not clear what the future is for production of the Hawker 700/800/900 range.
