In the White Ice Cycle section there's a sentence:
"Her rivals (Juan Menéndez Granados and Daniel Burton) rode standard upright bikes and took almost 4 weeks longer than Leijerstam to reach the summit." I assume that should say Pole, not summit, as the Pole isn't the summit of anything, but could someone who knows more about the details correct it. BobBadg (talk) 12:33, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the sentence entirely. Even with the issue of the South Pole not being a "summit," the two other cyclists started in a different part of the continent and had a much longer distance to cover. The feats cannot be compared in a manner that implies the choice of cycle was the deciding factor. GottaShowMe (talk) 23:20, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
