I've just removed the following text: "Of particular note is the Institute for the Study of the Americas - formed by the 2004 merger of The Institute of United States Studies and The Institute of Latin American Studies - this school is one of the preeminent schools in the world for American Studies. It's alumni includes a number of well known journalists, politicians, economists and academics."
It's unclear why this institute is more noteworthy than any of the others (the comment about unnamed alumni could apply to several of the others just as easily) without specific evidence. A similar statement is already available on Institute for the Study of the Americas page.
