Wire wheels: Wire wheels#On motorcycles says only main article: Motorcycle construction#Wheels, but that is not a main article, it is a subsection. Bicycle wheel is a better article, but none of these 3 actually explains how spokes support the wheel pre-stressed w/compression.

Good question. The data is different than that in the Yamaha Virago 535 article, though. Weird. I have no knowledge of these bikes whatsoever, so I can't really help out much. --Milkmandan 08:52, 2005 Feb 25 (UTC)
I was looking at the article and noticed that it claims the "classic" version is 88kg heavier, but also claims that the "custom" version is "slightly less weight". 88kg is an enormous amount of weight, and I therefore believe that it must be an error. Does anybody know the correct weight?
