Taojiang County (simplified Chinese: 桃江县; traditional Chinese: 桃江縣; pinyin: Táojiāng Xiàn) is a county in the Province of Hunan, China, it is under the administration of Yiyang Prefecture-level City.
Located in the north central part of the province, the county is bordered to the north by Hanshou County and Dingcheng District of Changde City, to the east by Ziyang and Heshan Districts, to the south by Ningxiang County, to the west by Anhua County. Taojiang County covers 2,068.35 km2 (798.59 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 888,400 and a permanent resident population of 792,300.[2] The county has 12 towns and 3 townships under its jurisdiction, the county seat is Taohuajiang (桃花江镇).[3]
