Tarciana Paula Gomes Medeiros (born 1978) is an Afro-Brazilian economist and business executive. In January 2023 she was appointed as CEO of Banco do Brasil (BB), the second-largest bank in Brazil and Latin America, which is controlled by the Brazilian government. In 2023 she was considered by Forbes magazine to be the 24th most-powerful woman in the world.[1]
