{{Athletics at the Olympics}} is a sub-template of {{Olympic events sidebar}}, a series of navigational sidebars for articles on Olympic disciplines, designed to replace the aged Summer Olympics by year and Winter Olympics by year navigational sidebar series. It is devoted specifically to the Olympic discipline of athletics, and features interchangeable lists of archery events at various Olympic games, from 1896 to 2020. It is composed of a single blank parameter, 1, designed to accept year inputs. The sidebar's interchangeable lists are powered by the {{#switch}} parser function, through the 1 parameter.
