This is the template test cases page for the sandbox of Template:Currency. Purge this page to update the examples. If there are many examples of a complicated template, later ones may break due to limits in MediaWiki; see the HTML comment "NewPP limit report" in the rendered page. You can also use Special:ExpandTemplates to examine the results of template uses. This testcases page compares the sub-template driven version against the Lua module driven version. Codes in the tables are taken from the table in [[ISO 4217].

The error messages are for the currencies that don't exist in a real world sense – they cannot be put into a pocket and used at the local shops. The Lua module supports all of the real-world currencies; the sub-templates do not.
