The {{Deprecated stub}} template notifies users that a given stub template has been superseded or replaced by another template, or has simply been deprecated (i.e., advised to no longer be used) without a direct replacement. This is useful when a stub template's name is ambiguous and could refer to one of several related but different subjects.
Deprecated stub templates are not typically deleted, and are usually kept as soft redirects.
