ALT1: ... that Kaija Saariaho's 2021 opera Innocence includes singing inspired by Finno-Ugric cow-herding calls? Source: "The role of Markéta was created alongside Saariaho by Vilma Jää [fi], who specializes in Finno-Ugric singing techniques and cow-herding songs." [2]
- ALT2: ... that Kaija Saariaho's 2021 opera Innocence includes traditional Finnish cow-herding calls? Source: "The role of Markéta, specified merely as a "folk singer" in the score, includes Finnish cow-herding calls and improvised cadenzas." [3]

- ALT1 is not supported by article text. The latter implies that such music is incorporated into the opera rather than merely being "inspired" by it, but it also doesn't say the singer in question actually uses it in the opera, only that she "specializes" in it. - @Gatoclass: I just edited the article text to better reflect the sources (e.g. to say specifically that herding calls are used in the opera), and added ALT2 to reflect this in turn. Does this look like an improvement? Noahfgodard (talk) 17:45, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

Overall:
That looks much better! - thanks. Both hooks are very unusual and interesting, but I think I prefer the alt.
