Please note, however, that the TfD discussion where the merge was voted upon incorrectly identified the most appropriate merge target (i.e., the surviving merge template) as "Template:Infobox gridiron football person". By long-established consensus and practice, biographical articles for Arena Football players actually use Template:Infobox NFL biography, not "Template:Infobox gridiron football person" as the standard infobox template.
