This template is designed to be used in articles about organizations that appear in comics, and more specifically in a self-titled comic. These may be companies, military units, governments, teams, or the like. Examples of this are Damage Control (comics) and Savage Avengers.
For cases where the organization and the title have separate articles, use {{Infobox comics organization}} and {{Infobox comic book title}} respectively.
Articles for organizations without a related comics series should use {{Infobox comics organization}}.
