, depicts the baptism of
Pocahontas
, and is a copy of an 1840 painting by
John Gadsby Chapman
on display in the
United States Capitol rotunda
. From 1875, the vignette was used on the reverse of
twenty-dollar bills
as part of the first issue of
National Bank Notes
.
