This template is part of a group of templates that are used to display information about a specific star. The list should always have {{Starbox begin}} as the first in the list, while the list should have {{Starbox end}} as the last in the list. Use of the {{RA}} template is recommended for formatting the right ascension, and the {{DEC}} template for formatting the declination. If the apparent magnitude is not known, it may be omitted, and the apparent magnitude will then be omitted from the infobox. For double or triple star systems where right ascension and declination measurements are available for all components, {{Starbox observe 2s}} and {{Starbox observe 3s}} may be used. This particular template can be used as follows:
{{Starbox observe | epoch = <!--Epoch of observation--> | equinox = <!--Equinox of coordinates (defaults to epoch)--> | constell = <!--Constellation name--> | pronounce = <!--Pronunciation guide--> | ra = <!--Right Ascension – use {{RA|hh|mm|ss.dddd}} or {{Deg2HMS|ddd.dddd|sup=yes}}--> | dec = <!--Declination--> | appmag_v = <!--Apparent magnitude (Johnson-Cousins V system)--> }}
The following templates are used together and are usually placed in the order listed below.
