Thambi (transl. Younger Brother) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Jeethu Joseph. Co-written by Rensil D'Silva, Sameer Arora, Jeethu Joseph and K. Manikandan, it was jointly produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Parallel Mind Productions. The film stars Karthi, Jyothika, Nikhila Vimal, Sathyaraj and Ammu Abhirami. The music and background score was composed by Govind Vasantha.
Thambi was released on 20 December 2019 and received positive reviews from critics, where it became a commercial success.[1][2]
