The Greens (Icelandic: Græningjar) is a green Icelandic political party established on 20 October 2024 by Kikka Sigurðardóttir. The main policies of the party are to establish a highland national park and to ensure the protection of the environment and to bring measures against climate change.
The party is in the process of registering for the 2024 parliamentary election, planning to take the letter G. The party also has representation in the Althing through an MP who left the Left-Green Movement, Bjarni Jónsson.
