The Richie Allen Show

The Richie Allen Show is a UK-based digital radio show and podcast hosted by Irish radio broadcaster and journalist Richie Allen, and broadcast from Salford, Greater Manchester. The show started in September 2014 and up until its temporary hiatus in October 2024 was broadcast four days a week: Monday to Thursday.

In 2019, after a number of Brexit Party MEPs appeared as guests in the show, anti-racist advocacy group Hope not Hate published a report on the far-right and antisemitic content of the show. This led to the Board of Deputies of British Jews issuing a statement against potential guests appearing on the show.[1][2]

In October 2024, the weekday broadcasts of the radio show were put on hiatus with Allen strongly indicating that they would be discontinued in their current format after 10 years. However the following month it was confirmed by Allen that the weekday show would return on 02 December 2024.[3]His music-themed Sunday Morning Melodies show still continues to be broadcast live every Sunday from 10:00 to 12:00 GMT.
