In Greek mythology, Thespius (/ˈθɛspiəs/; Ancient Greek: Θέσπιος Théspios) or Thestius (/ˈθɛstʃəs, ˈθɛstiəs/; Ancient Greek: Θέστιος)[1] was a legendary founder and king of Thespiae, Boeotia. His life account is considered part of Greek mythology.
