Lieutenant Commander Thomas Mervyn Smith-Dorrien-Smith JP[1] (12 May 1913 – 5 December 1973) was a British politician who was the leaseholder of the island of Tresco from 1955 until 1973. He served as Chairman of the Council of the Isles of Scilly from 1972 until his death in 1973.[2]
