Treasure Island, also known as Mindemoya,[1] is a small island in Lake Mindemoya, on Manitoulin Island, which is in Lake Huron. Aside from being Manitoulin's largest island at approximately 0.445 km2 (0.2 sq mi) in area, it is notable for being the world's largest natural island in a lake on an island in a lake.
The island has no permanent residents, but there are some cottages. Treasure Island lies at an elevation of 200 metres (660 ft) above sea level, with its highest point being about 225 metres (738 ft) above sea level. It is about 1.4 km (1 mile) in length and about 400 meters (yards) wide and about 110 acres.
