Update: After almost an year-long wikiholiday, I am back again. Taking a wikiholiday was not a conscious decision at start, It just happened starting with a 15-days-long family trip to Europe. It just felt like a lot of negative things were happening around the world (personally the Russian invasion of Ukraine) for me to be able to work at full energy on Wikipedia.
I stand in solidarity with Ukraine and Ukrainian people and oppose Russian invasion (assualt?) of Ukraine. Russia has carried out a brutal, unprovoked and premeditated attack against a peaceful state and its people.
I am an English bureaucrat currently based in Trivandrum, India. I have also spent significant time in other parts of India: Mumbai, Noida, Srinagar, Dharamshala, Chennai and Kolkata.
I was born in United Kingdom, but spent my childhood and teenage years in Netherlands and Germany. I have a PhD degree in Environment Science, a post-graduate degree in philosophy and information science. I can speak and write English and French. I can fairly understand, to some level, Hindi and Marathi language.
I explore articles related to education and teaching sphere in Wikipedia, and usually make edit to them only. However, I sometime also love exploring new science, technology and future-related articles.
