The hospital has an American Academy of Pediatrics verified level III neonatal intensive care unit that has a capacity of 18 bassinets.[8] The hospital also has a 14-bed pediatric intensive care unit for critical pediatric patients age 0-21.[9]
In 2020 amidst the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic the hospital converted their PICU into an adult ICU to help with the surge capacity for COVID-19. Patients that were in the PICU previously were transferred out to the Floating Hospital for Children and Boston Children's Hospital for treatment.[10]
