My full name is Anja-Lise Munro and I was born in Romania in 1972. I currently live in Oslo (Norway) together with my husband and son. I was born in Bucuresti (Romania) due to the fact that my parents were stationed there through my father's job. I moved to Norway when I was four years old and I grew up in Vestby ([[1]]). I moved from Vestby in 1990.
My father is Scottish and my mother is Norwegian. My father has retired and is now living in Brisbane (Australia). Through my father I am part of the clan Munro, see [[2]]. My mother is a retired school teacher and lives in Norway. I am very proud of what my mother has achieved in life. She (then Marit Sæther) won His Majesty the King's Cup Trophy for winning the 100 meters free style swimming in 1956 ([3]). She has also been Norwegian Champion in veteran tennis many times (here is an example [4]). My mother also has achieved good results in bowling. I also have an older brother, Alisdair Munro ([5]).
