Partaking in XfDs allows me to keep on top of guidelines, and occasionally rescue an article from doom. I think that countering systemic bias is quite important and I will work quite hard to find sources for articles that I think could be saved and are generally threatened with deletion due to their non-Western origins or a poor job sourcing them in the first place. On the other hand, if an article fails to meet the relevant notability criteria then I have no problem saying so.
Occasionally I'll just pick on other things...
