I have been a lurker and avid reader here for a long time[when?] before I started editing. In my early days as an editor, most of my content work was about chemical elements and their isotopes, as well as broader topics within the scope of nuclear physics. Over time, it has spread across various topic areas, including football, public transportation in and around New York City, and scattered lesser edits,[vague] though I still find myself periodically reading about nucleosynthesis experiments and superheavy elements and updating isotopes pages.[needs update] Sometimes[how often?] I instead do less visible maintenance work, such as recent changes patrol, new page patrol, and other janitorial work.[1][why?] I am also affiliated with Wikimedia New York City.[2]

I use the name ComplexRational only on Wikimedia projects and connected platforms, namely Discord servers with fellow Wikipedians and enthusiasts[3] as well as Newspapers.com for article clippings. Feel free to contact me privately about any off-site activity allegedly of my doing, people on the Internet claiming to be me (especially those using the name ComplexRational), or other sus behavior.

My English is closest to en-N or en-4+ in generic or colloquial writing, though I could reach en-5 in some niche topics with which I am very familiar or regarding certain grammar rules.[citation needed] The 2 I give myself in Italian is primarily for reading and comprehension; my spoken and written ability is probably a bit less than that, but is enough for generic communication. The 1 in Spanish is mainly for superficially reading sources; I can only engage in basic communication, and it's been a while since I've seriously used it.

Any and all feedback is welcome at my talk page.[specify] I am always open for discussion, but should I be particularly busy in real life, I may not be able to give more than a quick response for several days.
