Hello!
I'm a queer guy living with my husband and a third partner in Washington, DC.
I first started working on Wikipedia in the very early days, when there were less than 10,000 articles! My User ID (when there were public User IDs) was 118. I'm very proud to have been involved in getting this incredible resource off the ground.
I have created and edited thousands of articles, but most of them were before we started tracking statistics. I created the original page on evolution, which tells you how early I came along! An infographic that mentions my role (under the username Dmerrill) in the writing of the article is the top hit on Digg Data Deluge. I also wrote the first versions of Homosexuality, Gay Rights, and other similar pages.
