Clive Davis (born 17 September 1949) is a former Welsh rugby union international player. Davis was born in Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent and represented Glanhowy youth before playing for Newbridge United and then Newbridge RFC for his entire first class carear . Davis was a versatile and athletic player who could play second or back row forward . During his playing career Davis gained honours for Wales school boys , Monmouthshire county , Barbarians , Wales B , and gained 3 full international caps for the Wales senior team .
Davis has the enviable honour of being the only Welsh try scorer while playing against England at the National stadium during the 1981 Welsh centenary season.
