User:Divide et Impera

Hi, a couple of words about myself and why I am here. Although one of the strongest wiki policies is that wikipedia is not a forum, I find that most of the contributors are here for the sense of community that wiki offers and the collaboration in writing articles. A blog gives similar sensations, but in general wikipedia is way more sophisticated, and the level of responsibility of the contributors is much higher, and so is the level of their commitment and education.

One of the most fascinating processes of Wikipedia is the DYK, which I have been glancing at through the main page every morning during the last 3 years. It is a marvelous process, which produces great results.

Another thing that has always attracted me to wikipedia is the history of the article and the user pages of its contributors. It's fun to read some of their stories and the reasons why they joined wiki. Some are more reserved, others more extroverted, and you can tell a lot about their personalities through the user page only.

I also enjoy going to the references brought and I'm thrilled when the links work: that attracted me to research the proper referencing tools, they are the most important piece of each article and the quality increases sensibly when the support of the writing is strong and reliable.

Please do not hesitate to let me know in my talk page that you reverted any of my edits or that you disagree with them: I think I have a strong knowledge of grammar, but I am convinced that there are a lot of better people out there who will outsmart me seven fold.
