Redirects are my main focus on this website. Here's how I personally do it.
- Request things on the Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects page, rather than create it yourself. The wait may take a while, but it is good to get a second opinion first.
- Follow the guidelines presented here for reviewing. This ensures that your formatting is high quality.
- Look at how other people do it as well. There are some standards that aren't followed exactly as written. Pay attention.
- And finally, send people your thanks for their contributions! Wikipedia is a community, after all.
