Corona Up is a 2001 Bay son of the ledgendary Corona Cartel, and out of the Victory Dash Daughter Oughta Go Quick.
Race Career
Corona Up, as a racehorse, obtained his racing Register Of Merit in 2003, a best speed index of 104 and started 29 times. He placed first 7 times, 3 of which were in stakes races, and was second 4 times. His total race earnings were $30,559. His stakes wins include the Ft. Pierre South Dakota Bred Futurity, the South Dakota Bred Futurity, and the Ft. Pierre South Dakota Bred Derby. Some of his most notable accomplishments include earning the title of the 2004 Central Hi-Point Three-Year-Old Colt, and the 2005 Central Hi-Point Aged Stallion. Corona Up also set two New Track Records at 250, and 300 yards, going the distances in 13.250 and 15.855 seconds respectively.
