Hi! I'm Ejosse1, and I know I need to do something about this user page...
I'm a member of the Military History and Biography WikiProjects, and my main area of interest is the history of the US Army between the American Civil War and World War I. I'm especially interested in the history of the 23rd US Infantry, and this is reflected in the articles I am watching and working on, with a handful of exceptions.
Even though "history of the US Army between the American Civil War and World War I" sounds pretty narrow, it still covers a lot of ground. And, although there are more articles covering this subject than I originally thought, there aren't many among the better articles. Taking a quick glance at the Featured articles, A-Class articles, and Good articles, I see only a few (Winfield Scott Hancock, Barton S. Alexander, William Tecumseh Sherman, Mark Matthews, Puerto Rican Campaign, Samuel Escue Tillman, Louis H. Carpenter, Brehon B. Somervell, George Brett (general), Richard Henry Savage) that fall inside the topic. So, I have my work cut out for me!
