Familiarise yourself with Wikipedia style and policies, and why they are flawed => Wikipedia controversies, criticism, and racial, ideological, gender, and geographical (systemic) biases. You cannot fix something that does not exist and these articles acknowledge the existence of these issues. So keep an eye out and see which one you (may be) unconsciously perpetuating
