A note to anyone looking for George

If you came here as I did looking for George's contact information, it appears he passed away on February 24, 2013 of lung cancer. --Joehms22 (talk) 21:16, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi, my name is George Gesslein II (pronounced jorj guess-line the second). I am a 51-year-old "differently-abled" guy and I live in Lansing, New York. I have contributed to the English and Simple English Wikipedias.

My lifetime programming project is Mathomatic, which is elementary algebra hard-coded and visualized in the C programming language. It is educational and thought-provoking free software.

Wikipedia is also all about education. Education helps us make better choices, along with communication and understanding.

I can be contacted by writing on my public talk page, or by private email. I would love to hear from somebody!

I am proud of Wikipedia going ahead with the blackout of January 18, 2012. The media companies have deceived most of us. We need you, Wikipedia, but we need sane and reasonable laws even more. Here is how to keep on fighting: The Internet Defense League.
