Shin'ichirō Kurimoto (栗本 慎一郎, Kurimoto Shin'ichirō) (November 23, 1941–) is a Japanese economic anthropology researcher, sociology of law researcher, and a critic. He is also a professor at the Tokyo University of Agriculture Faculty of International Agiruculture and Food Studies, and a lecturer at Takushoku University and Teikyo University. He served two terms in the House of Representatives of Japan, the lower house in the Diet of Japan. He was formerly the parliamentary vice-minister of the Economic Planning Agency. Kurimoto is also the board chairman of the University Research Institute (有限会社大学総合研究所). His father was Kazuo Kurimoto, the former Supreme Court judge.
