Bryce Reed
Date of Birth: January 6th, 1982 Place: Centrallia, Illinois (St. Mary's Hospital)
Bryce Reed is the owner of The Silentium Music Group, and is the founder of Bare Fruit Ministries. Son of Lonnie Reed and Therese Nelson, Reed began his early years in Patoka, Illinois. in 1990, at the age of 8, his family moved to Rockwall, Texas. Reed's father, a pipeline worker for Mobil Pipeline Inc, Had been promoted and was now Operations Controller for the western region of the United States.
Reed was enrolled at Dobbs Elementary in Rockwall, Texas in the spring of 1990. During this first year is when Reed began standing out amongst the other children. Reed was always cited for his hyper nature and failure to pay attention in the classroom. With a belief that he might have a learning/behavior disorder, Reed was analyzed by a psychiatrist. The only abnormal finding was his I.Q. The average american I.Q. (Intelligence Quotient) ranges from 80-100, Reed was rated at 148, genius. Despite trouble in school, in 1991, at the age of 9, Reed became the youngest C.P.R. instructor, in the history of the American Heart Association. Instead of attending after school programs, Reed insisted on accompanying his mother to the hospital where she worked. Lake Pointe Medical Center in Rowlett, Texas hired Reed as an instructor at the age of 10. By 11 years old he was a volunteer in the emergency room at LPMC, and had begun to develop other talents.
Reed excelled at music. He received only 1 year of formal piano instruction, when his teacher approached his father after discovering he couldn't read music. What Reed had been playing for the teacher was not what he was reading, but what he had heard her play prior. Reed began playing Elton John, Jerry Lee Louis, Beethoven, and numerous other artists/composers after hearing their songs once or twice. Reed composed his first song at the age of 9,by the age of 10 he was writing music in which others stated "a child could not understand the situation he is singing about". Ron Dellio was the owner of the recording studio at Access Creative in Ft. Worth, Texas. Reed had caught Dellio's attention, after hearing Reed play in church. At the age of 10 Reed was offered $20,000 for one of his songs, which he promptly refused. Reed had the ability by 13 to create interactive multimedia websites, compose multi-symphonic scores (using only letters a-g), database creation, C.L.E.P. of the Emergency Medical Technician course, Advanced First Aid, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, and yet he had trouble passing his classes in school. At the age of 14, Reed attended Rockwall High School in Rockwall, Texas. Reed caught the attention of Biology teacher Doug Johnston. For a science project Reed was challenged to prove there was a "God". The basis for this subject was to find something we cant explain. Most classmates chose "The Big Bang" or "How do Bumblebees fly", Reed chose a more challenging path: He refuted the Law of Gravity. Citing physics and mathematics, Reed became the object of much attention for his simplistic yet radical theory. Reed speculated that if equal forces meet at an equal point, at the point there is a period of "null". This "null" meant that both forces would render the other ineffective. Using the formula X=Y Reed took a globe, placed an "X" on the North Pole, and a "Y" on the South Pole. In his final report Reed wrote: "as gravity is pulling in equal proportions at both locations we can accept this force as "1" or 1G. If we were to dig a hole directly through the center of the earth, allowing both forces to meet in the center, theoretically, where the two equal but opposing forces meet there will be a period of "null". If Sir Issac Newton was correct in his 1st law of motion, then we find two forces acting upon one another with equal strength. Where these two forces meet (X1---->Z<-----Y1), there is a "null" or "Z" axis. Mr. Johnston, if what you have taught me is correct, then where any two points meet at the center of the earth, gravity is an impossibility as nothing is being pulled in any direction, and that sir is a freakin miracle and miracles come from God".
Reed was given an "A+' for his theory. This theory went on to several debate teams, and was briefly noted on Good Morning America, along with Reeds debate on evolution. Reed, as an assignment, was to debate all biology classes, and prove there was "Intelligent Design". Reed opposed 176 classmates who simply had to support evolution. Reed furnished such a viable and sound argument, the opposition withdrew. At 19, Reed was licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic in the State of Texas. He was able to attend class, study for two years at Methodist Hospital of Dallas, all while touring the southern United States in his self titled band. Reed received numerous accolades in the following years. In 2007 he was hired as a flight paramedic for Omniflight Helicopters Inc. in El Paso, Texas. Three weeks prior to receiving the call that he was hired, Reed met Brittany Tooker, an emergency room nurse. Tooker and Reed moved west together, and were married November 1st, 2008. Today Reed is a highly sought music producer, writer, and speaker. Reed established the first independent, self sufficient, christian record label in United States History. Reed has gone on to establish Bare Fruit Ministries which provides credit assistance, homeless assistance, crisis intervention, medical care, marriage counseling, and child tutoring all pro-bono. Today Reed and his wife reside in west Texas.
