UWM Union The UWM Union is located on Kenwood Boulevard on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Sustained by student fees, the three-story building (with an underground parking garage) calls itself "the center of campus life.^[1] The facility has an art gallery, a recreation center, a sports bar, and a theatre. In 2012, students agreed via referendum to put $160 million of future segregated fees into the building of a new student union, with a possibility of it opening in 2018.^[2]
