My involvement in the Wiki community boils down to a firm belief in the benefit of freely available content. A totally open knowledge source open to everyone is one of the most extraordinary developments of the Age of Information. Creative Commons Licenses allow all of us to share the benefit of each other's expertise in a much broader way than has ever been possible in the history of the world. How fantastic it is that with a few keystrokes, you can find essentially free information on nearly every common topic (and very many uncommon ones too). Knowledge is power, and it is a great privilege that, in some few ways, I can share that power with you.
