BW: “Captain, are you a Christian?”
KB: “I hope so—I profess to be.”
BW: “Do you say grace at your table when you are at home?”
KB: “I always do unless my wife or one of my children do when asked to do so.”
BW: “Would you mind if I asked you to say grace at my table?”
KB: “I thank you, general, for asking the question. Nothing would give me more pleasure.”
BW: “Well, I wanted to ask you all the time, but you know how it is—so many people who are church people, but do not do such things.”
KB: “My father was an old Methodist class leader, and he always had grace at table and family prayers.”
